Grateful to Akshay Kumar for his trust – Abhishek Anil Kapur on Sky Force

Abhishek reflected on his journey, the challenges of directing his first film and the overwhelming response from audiences. He said, “I’m still trying to process everything,” and added, “When I set out to direct Sky Force, I could only hope for a positive reception, but this response is beyond anything I ever imagined.”

The filmmaker continued, “Veer and I have visited several cinemas and witnessing the live reactions from the audience has filled us with indescribable happiness. Seeing viewers enjoy the film and embrace our work is the greatest reward. I’m immensely grateful to Akshay Kumar, who trusted me and to Dinesh Vijan, Amar Kaushik and Jio Studios for believing in my vision.”

Looking ahead, Abhishek’s enthusiasm is palpable. “The journey doesn’t stop here,” he expressed. He added, “I’m already working on new ideas and can’t wait to collaborate with more incredible talents to create stories that inspire and entertain.”

Sky Force is directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani and features a stellar cast of Akshay Kumar, Veer Paharia, Sara Ali Khan, Nimrit Kaur and Sharad Kelkar among. The film written by Carl Austin, Aamil Keeyan Khan and Sandeep Kewlani is produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios.
