Himesh Reshammiya’s father, music director and producer Vipin Reshammiya, has passed away at the age of 88.
As per reports, Vipin Reshammiya was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday night due to breathing difficulties and age-related health issues. He died on Wednesday night.
A statement shared by the family read, “It is with profound grief that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Shri Vipin Reshammiya. A kind soul with a heart full of love, his presence lit up the lives of all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, wisdom, cherished memories, and timeless music.”
Vipin Reshammiya composed music for the 1988 film Insaf Ki Jung. He produced films like The Xposé and Teraa Surroor, featuring his son Himesh.
His last rites took place earlier today at the Oshiwara crematorium.
