Is Vijay Deverakonda Replacing Nagarjuna As Bigg Boss Telugus Host?

Bigg Boss Telugu is one of the most popular reality shows, especially in South India, with a huge fan following worldwide. For the past few seasons, Nagarjuna has been hosting the show with great energy and charm. However, recent reports suggest that he might step down, and the makers are looking for a new host. According to sources, they are in talks with Vijay Deverakonda for the role. While Vijay is considering the offer, nothing has been confirmed yet, as Nagarjuna has not officially announced whether he is leaving Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9.  

The show first aired in 2017 and has successfully completed eight seasons. Jr NTR hosted the first season, and Nani took over for the second. From the third season onwards, Nagarjuna became the face of the show. Over the years, the format has changed, with Seasons 2 and 6 featuring both celebrities and commoners as contestants. Bigg Boss Telugu has remained one of the most talked-about reality shows, keeping viewers hooked with its drama, tasks, and eliminations. As fans wait for updates, many are excited to see if Vijay Deverakonda will step in as the new host.

Season 8 recently wrapped up, with Nikhil Maliyakkal winning the title after defeating Gautham, who came in as the first runner-up. Nabeel and Prerana secured the second and third runner-up spots, while Avinash finished in fourth place. Nikhil took home the trophy along with a cash prize. After his win, he dedicated his success to his mother and thanked everyone who supported him. He spoke about the emotional ups and downs he faced in the house—joy, laughter, tears, and conflicts—and credited the audience for believing in him and helping him prove himself.

Meanwhile, Nagarjuna is busy with two big film projects—Coolie, where he stars alongside Rajinikanth, and Kubera, featuring Dhanush and Rashmika Mandanna. Vijay Deverakonda, who is being considered as the next Bigg Boss Telugu host, is gearing up for the release of his film Kingdom, which is set to hit theatres on May 30. With no official confirmation yet, fans are eagerly waiting to see if Vijay will take over hosting duties or if Nagarjuna will return for another season.
