Jigra trailer: Alia Bhatt urges to save Vedang Raina in an emotional drama

The highly-anticipated trailer for Jigra has been released. Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina star in this sibling drama as the former goes through hell and back to save the latter from wrongful police custody. Alia Bhatt’s character Satya and Vedang Raina’s Ankur make an impactful sibling duo who navigate through a mismanaged judicial system.
The trailer begins with Ankur being sentenced to death by electrocution after three months. Upon receiving the news, Alia Bhatt’s character rushes to safeguard her brother. The trailer shows series of hard-hitting scenes that are filled with action. Alia can be seen falling from a tree, navigating through gunshots, and threatening to kill herself, to meet her brother once.
Fans can also witness a special cameo by Alia’s best friend Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, who stars as an air hostess in one of the scenes. Apart from Alia and Vedang, the movie also stars Manoj Pahwa in a crucial role. It is slated to hit the theatres on October 11, 2024.
