Junaid Khan opens up about his privilege in the film industry

Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid Khan, made his acting debut last year with the OTT film Maharaj. A year later, he is gearing up for his big screen debut in the romantic comedy Loveyapa, co-starring Khushi Kapoor. Unlike many of his contemporaries, Junaid stays away from social media, but he believes that his family background will still open doors for him in the film industry.

In a recent interview, he shared that producers would cast him even without any public social media presence, simply because of his family’s legacy. He pointed out that not many actors have this kind of advantage.

Despite the privileges, Junaid mentioned that no one has criticized his work so far, and even if they have, he wouldn’t know since he isn’t active on social media. His Loveyapa co-star, Khushi Kapoor, also recognized her own privileges and expressed gratitude for the opportunities she has received.
