Kabir Khan denies working with Salman Khan on Babbar Sher

There were rumours doing the rounds that filmmaker Kabir Khan and Salman Khan are set to reunite once again. The duo has churned out hit films such as Tubelight, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Ek Tha Tiger. It was speculated that they would work once again on a film reportedly titled Babbar Sher. Now, the filmmaker has responded to these rumours and refuted them, much to the disappointment of fans.
Talking about the bond he shares with Salman Khan, Kabir Khan said, “That’s unfounded. As a director, I meet actors, and we chat, and, of course, Salman is someone who has played such a strong role in my career, so I keep chatting with him.”

He continued, “I think when I went to meet him once, that conversation happened, and that name Babbar Sher came up. I think it was an exciting name, so people picked it up. But no, there’s actually nothing right now. I myself don’t know what I’m going to be announcing in three months.”
Meanwhile, Salman Khan is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Sikandar. The teaser has been released giving a glimpse of the action-packed scenes of the film. The film is directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Salman plays the titular character while Rashmika Mandanna plays his love interest. The film reportedly revolves around a man who goes up against corruption for the good of the common people. The film’s expansive cast line-up also includes Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar and Sathyaraj among others.

Recently, the makers released the first song of the film titled Zohra Jabeen. The catchy dance number sees the lead pair dancing and showcasing their sizzling chemistry. Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna show off their sizzling chemistry in the song. Sikandar will release in theatres on Eid this year.
