Mukesh Khanna opens up on bringing back Shaktimaan

Mukesh Khanna, who became a household name with the series Shaktimaan, recently announced that he will be returning on screen with his iconic character. Talking about his role, he shared that he did well as Shaktimaan because it came within him and acting is all about confidence. He also said that he is happier than others about becoming Shaktimaan again.
The actor said, “I am carrying out my duty that I started in 1997 and which went on till 2005. I think that my work should reach the public in 2027 because today’s generation is running blindly. They have to be stopped and told to catch their breath.”
He shared a poster and a teaser video of Shaktimaan recently on his social media handle and announced the character’s comeback. The video shows Shaktimaan flying in his signature style and landing in a school where he sings a song about freedom. He wrote, “It’s Time For HIM to RETURN. Our First Indian SUPER TEACHER- SUPER HERO. YES! As Darkness And Evil prevails over Children of Today… It’s time for him to return. He returns with a Message. He returns with a Teaching. For today’s generation. Welcome Him. With both hands !!!!!”
Shaktimaan instantly became a favourite among young people at the time it was released and to date remains an iconic television show.
