NEEK Trailer: Dhanush returns with a love story full of twists 

Dhanush is back in the director’s chair with Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK), a coming-of-age love story releasing on February 21. This is his third directorial after Pa Paandi (2017) and Raayan (2024). The film stars Pavish, Anikha Surendran, and Priya Prakash Varrier, with the trailer teasing what seems like a familiar love story—but with a twist.

The plot follows Prabhu, played by Pavish, a chef who falls for Priya’s character. Things get messy when his ex-girlfriend, played by Anikha, gets engaged to a charming guy, stirring jealousy and chaos. Sarathkumar plays Anikha’s father, and the trailer hints at unresolved issues from Prabhu’s past coming back to haunt him.

Dhanush has written, directed, and produced the film under Wunderbar Films. GV Prakash has composed the music, and the cast also includes Mathew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, and Ramya Ranganathan.  

Priyanka Arul Mohan makes a special appearance in the song Golden Sparrow, while Dhanush himself pops up in a cameo.
