By the order of the Peaky Blinders, Cillian Murphy is back as Tommy Shelby. Murphy’s first look was revealed recently in the Peaky Blinders movie, sparking excitement. The film is set a couple of years after the end of the globally popular series.
The official Instagram handle of Netflix UK shared Murphy’s first looks from the film and wrote, “By order of the Peaky Blinders… Tommy Shelby is back. Cillian Murphy and Steven Knight are reunited on set as production officially starts on the upcoming Netflix film.”
Fans could not contain their excitement and took to the comment section to recall popular dialogues from the series. One fan wrote, “The only person that could ever kill Thomas Shelby is Thomas Shelby himself” while another added, “In the gathering storm comes a tall handsome man.”
The makers confirmed that the film went on floors earlier this year. It is being directed by Tom Harper and written by Steven Knight.
The Peaky Blinders movie will also feature Rebecca Ferguson, Barry Keoghan, Tim Roth, and Jay Lycurgo.
