Post event updates of Hansgrohe presents The D/List 2024 – Third Edition

As we draw closer to the moment everyone has been anticipating, all eyes are drawn to this year’s stunning D/List trophy. A true centrepiece, the D/List 2024 trophy is a celebration of re-imagining waste and is created by artisans from Advanced Nature in collaboration with Jesh Krishnamurthy and Nikhil Pandey. From agricultural by-products to mining and construction debris, a wide spectrum of discarded materials has been transformed as fillers and key components in the sophisticated binders developed at Advanced Nature. Handcrafted with a focus on an ultra-low carbon footprint, the trophy embodies the future of sustainable design in India. It demonstrates that achieving balance, circularity, and sustainability in both imagination and construction is not only possible but essential. Above all, it underscores a profound truth – true sustainability lies in simplicity.

The atmosphere at the venue is truly dynamic as lively discussions unfold, fresh ideas ignite and laughter resonates. The red carpet is abuzz as we catch glimpses of  hotlist contenders, mingling in the vibrant setting.

One of the evening’s standout moments was the presentation of WaterTunes by hansgrohe. This electro-pop album turns water disturbance sounds, typically filtered out during product testing, into captivating music. Produced by Florian Kruse and Andreas Paulsen, the album uses sounds like whirring—usually unwanted in showers and faucets—as inspiration for its relaxing beats.

The stylish ambience of Cosy Box adds to the charm of the night as guests engage in lively conversations, share creative insights, and celebrate the spirit of innovation. It’s an unforgettable evening that brings together the best of the design world, all in the heart of Mumbai.
