Rajinikanth calls Vettaiyan co-star Fahadh Faasil a natural artiste

Rajinikanth is gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated film, Vettaiyan, set to hit theaters on October 10, 2024. At the film’s prevue event, the superstar couldn’t hold back his admiration for co-star Fahadh Faasil, who plays a comical character named Patrick in the movie.

Rajinikanth shared his astonishment at the casting choice, stating, “I was dumbfounded at who they’d cast in this role.” He revealed that he had only seen Fahadh in serious roles in Vikram and Maamannan, making his comedic performance all the more surprising.  

Rajinikanth praised Fahadh as a natural artiste, emphasizing his exceptional talent. The film, directed by TJ Gnanavel, is an action drama that features Rajinikanth as an IPS officer and Amitabh Bachchan as a human rights advocate. With a star-studded cast including Rana Daggubati and Manju Warrier, Vettaiyan promises a clash of ideologies and thrilling entertainment.
