Ranbir Kapoor pays an ode to Rishi Kapoor in this video

Ranbir Kapoor is launching his fashion and lifestyle brand this month. Today, the actor gave a glimpse of the collection he has in store, including sneakers and comfortable shirts. He shared the promotional video on social media, in which he cycles through some of Mumbai’s iconic locations, including Marine Drive while talking about his connection to the city.

And as expected, the actor paid a heartfelt tribute to his late father Rishi Kapoor through the short video. It opens with Ranbir saying, “I have travelled to many cities across the world but nothing quite has the same energy for me as Mumbai. The kind that inspires you to try, fail and get back up again. You can’t help but keep going. Mumbai is a part of my being, my soul. It’s home.”

We can see montages of the lanes of Mumbai, Marine Drive and the sea link among many others things. He then passes by a mural of Rishi Kapoor painted at Bandstand, Bandra and we hear his voice over, “So many of my memories are tied to this place and it shaped who I am. And it is where I am easiest.” The brand will be launched on Valentine’s Day.
