Saif Ali Khan recalls Taimur asking him Are you going to die?

Saif Ali Khan sustained multiple injuries after he was attacked by an intruder at his home on January 16. Since then, the actor has recovered following surgeries. In an interview, the actor recalled details about the horrific night including Taimur’s first reaction.

Saif Ali Khan told the Bombay Times that he initially didn’t comprehend the fact that he’d been stabbed. He shared, “Kareena was shouting for a rickshaw, or a cab, or anything. I said, I kind of feel some pain. There’s something wrong with my back. She said – you go to the hospital and I’ll go to my sister’s house. She was making calls frantically – but nobody was up. And we looked at each other, and I said, ‘I’m fine. I’m not going to die.’”

He added, “Taimur also asked me – ‘Are you going to die?’ I said, ‘No.’”

Saif further shared that Taimur was “fine” and in the moment, going to the hospital with him felt like the right thing. He shared, “He was absolutely composed. He was fine. He said, ‘I’m coming with you.’ And I thought if something happens… I was getting a lot of comfort just from looking at him at that time. And I didn’t want to go alone.”
