Actress Samantha, who has impressed audience all over the country with her performances in The Family Man 2, Citadel: Honey Bunny and more, made her debut with the 2010 film Ye Maaya Chesave (YMC). The film also starred her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya.
In an interview, she recalled working on that film and shared that she remembers each and everything about it. The actress recently completed 15 years in the industry. In 2010, she had multiple released and also shot for Moscowin Kavery before YMC. However, YMC released before that film. Speaking about it, she said, “But that film is a blur because we would shoot for a day, then have breaks, and resume after long gaps. However, Ye Maaya Chesave is different—I remember every single shot.”
The first scene she shot was with Naga Chaitanya, who played the character Karthik. Samantha continued, “The first scene I shot was the gate meeting with Karthik. I recall every little detail about that moment because it was a fantastic experience working with Gautham Menon (the director). He knew exactly what he wanted and how the character should come across.”
Meanwhile, as the actress completed 5 years in the industry, she penned a note of gratitude. Taking to social media, she wrote, “15 years. Grateful. Blessed. Loved. Many more to come.”
