Shah Rukh Khan’s association with Filmfare goes back a long time. The actor started hosting the awards in 2003, but he won his first Black Lady in 1993 for his debut film Deewana. The actor who is well known for his sharp sense of humour and immense charm has given several memorable moments on the stage of Filmfare, that remain a significant part of our pop culture to date. Shah Rukh Khan’s Emotional Speech
Shah Rukh Khan accepted the Best Actor Award for Kuch Kuch Hota Hai at the 1999 Filmfare Awards. While he thanked Yash Johar and Hiroo Johar, his emotional speech won hearts. He recalled Yash Ji’s advice of not giving up, even if one does not get it right the first time.

When Irrfan Khan Recreated Mohabbatein’s Scene
Irrfan Khan is one such actor whose void is still felt in the film industry. He had paid tribute to King Khan’s Mohabbatein at the Filmfare awards in his own humorous way. He held a violin in his hand with a sweater on him and recreated a scene of SRK playing the violin in the film. The late actor also gave a twist to the dialogue Ek Ladki Thi Deewani Si. The banter between the two legendary actors left the audience in splits.

Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla’s Unmissable Chemistry
Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla’s chemistry is not only confined to their movies. At the 52nd Filmfare Awards, the duo left everyone in stitches with their stage presence and banter. Shah Rukh compliments Juhi for her looks but the latter takes it upon her to roast SRK. And we must say, her humour was on point and Shah Rukh played along.

Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan hosting Filmfare Awards
In 2007, the two Khans of Bollywood came together to host the Filmfare Awards. They entered the stage on an auto and SRK asked Saif Ali Khan to pay for the ride because he did not have money. Shah Rukh and Saif also did a segment where they wore towels and face packs and roasted their industry colleagues. Shah Rukh called him and Saif vulgar for their shenanigans on the stage and joked that the organisers will never invite them to host the awards again.
