Speaking to reporters after his release, Arjun said, “I am a law-abiding citizen and will cooperate fully. I once again extend my condolences to the family. It was a deeply unfortunate incident.”  

The incident occurred on December 4, when a 35-year-old woman lost her life and her eight-year-old son was hospitalized during a stampede-like situation at Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre. Thousands of fans had gathered to catch a glimpse of the actor at the premiere of “Pushpa 2” . Following the tragedy, police registered a case against Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), based on a complaint by the deceased woman’s family.Sneha Reddy welcomed her husband Allu Arjun with a hug as he returned from jail.
