Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul are all set to embrace parenthood soon. The couple, who tied the knot in 2023, announced in November last year that they were expecting their first child. While they initially revealed that the baby would arrive in 2025, they did not share the exact month. However, Suniel Shetty, who is overjoyed about becoming a grandfather, recently shared that the baby is expected to arrive in April. He also mentioned that their family conversations are now completely centered around the little one on the way.
The Bollywood star could not stop gushing about his daughter. He shared that he has always believed women look beautiful, but to him, his wife Mana Shetty looked the most stunning when she was pregnant. Now, seeing Athiya in this phase, he feels the same way about her. As for whether they are hoping for a boy or a girl, Suniel Shetty made it clear that it does not matter to them. The only thing that matters is the happiness of the family and the safe arrival of the baby.
Athiya and KL Rahul had shared their big news with a heartfelt Instagram post, which included a sweet image of tiny feet and an evil eye symbol. Their caption read, Our beautiful blessing is coming soon 2025. Fans and well-wishers showered them with love and good wishes, celebrating this special moment in their lives. The couple, known for keeping their relationship private, had dated for several years before finally saying I do in an intimate wedding at Suniel Shetty’s Khandala farmhouse.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Suniel Shetty is busy with some exciting projects. He will be seen in Welcome To The Jungle, the latest installment of the Welcome franchise, alongside Akshay Kumar and a star-studded cast. Additionally, he is set to reprise his role in Hera Pheri 3, directed by Priyadarshan, where he will reunite with Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal. The much-awaited comedy is expected to begin filming later this year, between August and September.
