Triptii Dimri reveals she cried after getting criticised for Animal

Triptii Dimri has been a part of several hit projects lately, through which the actress has showcased her skills and proved her mettle. Last year, she starred in Animal alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna and displayed quite a bold side of hers for the first time in her career. While her acting was praised by many, she received significant amount of backlash for the character she played. 

During a podcast, she said, “Pre-Animal, there was no criticism. Post Animal, there has been a lot of criticism. I was not happy. But I suppose that’s the side effect of being in a mainstream film.”  She continued, “I cried a lot. I was really upset after Animal. I cried a lot for 2-3 days because I was not used to this sort of criticism. My mind was blown by what people were writing.”

She then revealed how she dealt with this criticism. And that was by speaking to her sister, who told her that she must own it and reminded her of what she has achieved.

Triptii is currently awaiting the release of her film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. She will also be seen in Dhadak 2 with Siddhant Chaturvedi.
