Video: Rakesh Roshan remembers when his father got a Filmfare Award

At the trailer launch event for The Roshans, Rakesh Roshan reminisced about his late father, Roshanlal Nagrath. Holding photographs in his hands, he recalled the significant moment when his father received the Filmfare Award for Best Music Director, a milestone in his career.

The Roshans, is a documentary streaming on Netflix, that will explore the legacy and contributions of Roshanlal Nagrath in Indian cinema. It will also delve into the journeys of his sons, Rajesh and Rakesh Roshan, and his grandson, Hrithik Roshan, showcasing the family’s enduring impact on the industry.

He said, “I remember very nicely, my father got a Filmfare Award for Taj Mahal. We were very young then, but I remember how he posed when he got this award.”
